Job description
Our client, a prominent organisation in the marine sector, is currently seeking a Production Controller to join their team. This contract position involves managing production activities and ensuring smooth operation within the marine industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Operations Manager
- Day-to-day management of live production schedules
- Assisting in production activity control to meet business and financial objectives
- Working collaboratively with production supervisors and planners to achieve schedule adherence
- Reviewing production plans to identify and report potential risks to the Manager
- Monitoring material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Leading stand-up meetings with production supervisors
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Essential knowledge of SAP
- Machining industry experience
- Understanding of production systems such as MRP/ERP
- Familiarity with product structures like BOM and routings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Contract information:
- Intial 6 month contract
- Possible Temp - Perm
- Standard 37 hour week
- Overtime available
- Rate dependant on experience
