Job description
Matchech is looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to work within the medical sector on a contract basis.
You will be working on capital projects with a minimum requirement of 3 days on-site in Stevenage. The initial contract runs until the end of December 2024 with the possibility of further extension.
The role will include
- Managing projects identified in the Capital Plan in alignment with the Project Management Framework (PMF).
- Serving as the single point of accountability for the delivery of capital projects, collaborating with the site's nominated Capital Delivery Partner and other strategic partners.
- Business analysis to define business benefits and assess potential solutions.
- Drafting Project Investment Proposals (PIPs) and securing approval for capital budgets.
- Co-ordinating design reviews, safety studies, GMP reviews, and constructability assessments.
- Preparing Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and managing client HSE requirements.
Your experience should include
- Managing NEC projects utilising NEC 3 & 4
- Strategic planning, methodologies, and construction delivery best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Relevant qualification in Engineering or related Project Management discipline is desirable.
It would be a definite advantage if you also have
- Chartered/qualified with APM, ICE, RICS
- NEC Project Manager Accreditation
- Working knowledge of CEMAR
