Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, reviewing, and designing parking-related schemes, including controlled parking zones (CPZ) and disabled parking provisions
- Overseeing the consultation process and engaging with public feedback
- Delivering electric vehicle charging points and cycle hangars
- Managing the provision of dockless cycle parking solutions
- Supporting procurement and contract management for relevant works
- Collaborating with a team to ensure successful implementation of parking projects
- Promoting alternative transport measures to encourage cycling and sustainable travel
- Keeping up to date with policies and regulations relating to parking and transport
Job Requirements:
- Experience in the successful delivery of highways or transport schemes
- Proficiency in the application of various public consultation techniques
- Understanding of controlled parking zones (CPZ) and related infrastructure
- Knowledge of cycle parking solutions and electric vehicle charging points
- Strong project management and contract management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A relevant professional qualification or significant relevant experience
