Job description
Job Title: Compliance Manager - Part-time
Due to the High Security nature of this role, you'll need to be able to obtain Security Clearance (minimum 5 years UK residency) to apply.
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Working: Part time, 3 days per week (flexible) - Hybrid
Introduction:
We're partnering with a top company in the Defence & Security sector to find an experienced Compliance Manager (part-time), with a key focus on quality and compliance across the business.

What will I be doing?
As a Compliance Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining the quality of output from business process as required by the customer or project requirements.
You'll also guide corrective and improvement activities to make sure that quality objectives and customer needs are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Audits: You'll plan and manage internal audits for AS9100, ISO9001, and ISO27001 Conduct product and process audits which aligned with quality standards & manage external audits with the relevant certification bodies.
- Quality & Non-Conformance Management: Oversee the maintenance of the Business Management System (BMS) and report on its performance. Identify, document, and manage non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence. Revise and implement quality processes to meet customer needs and improve efficiency.
- Supplier & Customer Engagement: Manage the Approved Supplier List (ASL), collaborate with project teams and meet delivery. Act as the Information Security Management Representative (ISMS) & maintain data security standards.
What do I need to succeed?
You'll have relevant experience, a full UK driving license, and the ability to travel within the UK and internationally when required by project demands.
To be a success, you'll need:
- A degree in a relevant business field or suitable industry experience. Ideally, a Qualified Auditor or IRCA Lead Auditor.
- A strong understanding of quality assurance principles and industry standards such as ISO9001, AS9100, and ISO27001 would be advantageous but not essential.
