Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the water industry, is currently seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to join their dynamic team in North Wales. This permanent position involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects under various Framework Agreements, with a strong emphasis on mechanical and electrical engineering in clean water and wastewater projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the full lifecycle delivery of water and wastewater projects, including design, construction, and commissioning phases
- Ensuring timely and cost-efficient project delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Fostering effective communication and collaboration with client representatives, internal teams, and external stakeholders
- Developing and monitoring detailed project plans to identify and mitigate risks proactively
- Maintaining open and transparent communication with clients to align expectations and ensure satisfaction
- Leading, motivating, and supporting project teams and subcontractors to maximise productivity and innovation
- Upholding and advocating the highest safety standards and policies throughout all project activities
- Managing the commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience delivering clean and wastewater projects
- Relevant industry qualifications such as HNC, Degree, or NVQ Level 4 in Site Supervision
- Possession of CSCS, ECS, or SKILLcard certification
- Certification in SMSTS and First Aid at Work
- In-depth technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and water/wastewater operations
- Proficiency in project management software and IT systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
