Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the water industry, is currently seeking M&E Supervisors to manage projects across locations stretching from Birmingham to Scotland. This permanent role involves overseeing mechanical and electrical works on wastewater sites, with travel and occasional overnight stays required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating a team of mechanical and electrical engineers
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
- Directly contributing to hands-on tasks and on-the-tools work
- Travelling between sites, managing logistics, and ensuring efficient operations
- Maintaining health and safety standards across all sites
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting as needed
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation and reports
- Fostering productive relationships with team members and external stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in mechanical and electrical supervision
- Understanding of industrial environments; water industry experience is advantageous but not essential
- Supervisor-level qualifications or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a technical team
- Willingness to travel extensively with potential overnight stays
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Valid driving licence
