Job description
Job Title: Tunnel Surveyors
Location: Bristol
Shift Pattern: 7:3/7:4 shift pattern, 10-hour shifts
Rate: Circa £470 per shift (flat rate for nights/days)
Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Tunnel Surveyors to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidates will be responsible for the precise setting out of secondary tunnel linings, including reinforcement, formwork, and associated tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting Out: Accurately set out tunnel secondary linings, ensuring all measurements meet the project specifications.
Surveying: Perform detailed surveying tasks for reinforcement, formwork, and other structural elements within the tunnel.
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all surveying activities and report any discrepancies or issues.
Coordination:Work closely with the construction team to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
Compliance:Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and project guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tunnel Surveyor in similar large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of tunnel construction, particularly in secondary linings and formwork.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with other site professionals.
- Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work.
