Title: General Operator
Location: Bolton (onsite)
Start Date: 30/06/2025
Salary Rate: £23.91 - £25.26 p/h, Umbrella - inside IR35
Due to the nature of the role, please note the following:
- If you're selected, please be available for an onsite Assessment Day on Friday 04/04/2025 for a face-to-face interview and skills test - offers will follow the next week.
- BPSS clearance required for this role.
- You'll have the necessary Looming & Wiring experience.
Introduction
We've partnered with a top Aerospace and Defence supplier, who's looking for 10 General Operators on a 12-month contract basis to seize an exciting opportunity in Bolton.
What will I be doing:
As a General Operator, you'll take charge of manufacturing and self-certification tasks within the business, following product certification procedures, defined standards, and project timelines to deliver on objectives.
Day to day, you'll:
- Carry out detailed standard assembly/manufacturing tasks while adhering to procedures, quality standards, timescales, and H&S requirements.
- Support the smooth flow of work and information within the manufacturing area.
In this role, you'll work across departments, including:
- Looming
- PEC Assembly
- Plastics Department
What do you need to succeed?
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in Looming and Wiring
- Strong dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret layouts, follow instructions, and be PC literate
- Flexibility to work shifts and operate independently
- Any existing IPC 610 certification/training would be beneficial but isn't essential.
