Introduction:

Our client, a leading company in the Rail Communications sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled Comms Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to an important project in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supervising and coordinating all aspects of SISS (Station Information Surveillance Systems)
• Managing the installation, testing, and commissioning of communication equipment.
• Ensuring there is compliance with safety and quality standards
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting as required.
• Collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
• Adhering to health and safety regulations throughout all activities

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a similar role with significant experience working on SISS systems
• A valid PTS certification
• A valid SSSTS certification
• Understanding of Birmingham New Street station Comms Systems (preferable)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
