Our client, a prestigious entity in the aerospace sector, is seeking multiple contract Production Operative's to assist in the seamless operation of their day-to-day manufacturing processes. This role, situated in Portsmouth, involves manual work with a variety of equipment and machinery to ensure the efficient production of fuel tanks on a contractual basis.
There is possibility of contract converting to perm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate in compliance with health & safety guidelines
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas
- Follow and understand technical drawings, SOPs, and process specifications
- Check, mark-up and lift nylon on liners
- Operating an RF welder
- Use different adhesives and lacquer to bond fittings and Kevlar
- Prepare and fit tanks into Media/ICY
- Strip and rebuild jiffys and formers
- Lacquer and stencil tanks
- Record production data and information as required
