Job description

Matchtech are looking for a senior CAD Technician on a permanent basis in Surbiton, South West London.

The ideal candidate:

Essential:

Experience of Bentley MicroStation Connect
Experience of working within a Bentley ProjectWise CDE, with an understanding of workflows, and user permissions
Ability to produce all 2D and 3D drawings on infrastructure projects
Ability to work independently and manage a multi-disciplined team within any project type
Knowledge and understanding of BS1192:2007 and/or EN BS ISO 19650
Familiarity with Network Rail industry standards
An understanding of project survey snakegrids and Bentley managed workspaces
Experience of interrogating point cloud and survey data
Excellent attention to detail
Good technical and communication skills
An adaptable and flexible working style with the ability to develop and foster collaborative working
The ability to confidently present ideas, opinions, and solutions
Ability to represent the company on site visits/surveys (sometimes in unsociable hours) in a professional manner

Desirable:

Knowledge of Network Rail or relevant CAD standards
Qualifications

4+ years experience in a CAD Technician role, with a strong portfolio of work
