My Client is recruiting for a Technical Solutions Engineer in the Water Sector

This is field based, ideally in the Midlands but can be flexible

Competitive salary with car and eligibility for company bonus scheme.

The role will be home based (Midlands / South) with travel to client sites across the UK and head office in Monmouth.

About The Role

As a Technical Solutions Engineer you will be actively involved in all aspects of the development and scoping of wastewater solutions; from initial site appraisals, engaging with customers to identify potential solutions and developing commercial offers. Then subsequently confirming the contract awards and engineering handover to the operations team for delivery and execution. The technical development of rental solutions and purchase options presents the opportunity to experience the full project lifecycle.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about making a difference in the water-environmental sector, with practical and positive outlook. Experience from within the water industry is preferable; knowledgeable in wastewater treatment or engineering delivery processes. However, what matters most is your enthusiasm to contribute to a make a difference to providing a responsive approach to wastewater treatment solutions.

Main responsibilities

• Responsible for leading client engagement and undertaking troubleshooting and site appraisal to identify root cause fixes for existing treatment processes.
• Development of technical and commercial proposal for developed solutions
• Attendance at client engagement events and presenting at lunch and learn type events
• Pro-active promotion and marketing of the Company equipment and solutions, including representing the company at presentations, trade shows and events.
• Reporting to the Municipal sector lead, part of the Technical & Commercial team

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering Qualification Degree/HNC/HND etc
• Water Industry experience with a practical process or engineering outlook to problem solving
• Full driving licence
• Able to demonstrate initiative and professionalism when dealing with customers
