Job description

Introduction

Our client, VVB Engineering (UK) Ltd, is currently seeking a Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor to join their team. This contract role will be based at Birmingham New Street Station. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising the installation of HVAC systems, smoke clearance, car park ventilation, and staircase pressurisation systems. While railway/station experience is preferred, experience in these specific areas is essential.

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on heating systems and boilers
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and their installation
• Proficiency in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) engineering
• Understanding of railway/station projects (preferably on Network Rail)

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of HVAC systems, smoke clearance, car park ventilation, and staircase pressurisation systems
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Coordinate with the project team to deliver the project on time and within budget
• Provide technical expertise and advice to the team

Contract Details

This is a contract role with a negotiable rate, dependent on your skills and experience. You will be required to work days, nights, and weekends as necessary to meet project requirements.
