Software Engineer - Azure / C# / .Net
Our client, a leading player in the Banking and Investment sector, is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join their team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the company's software infrastructure, ensuring the smooth running of their financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality, efficient, and secure software solutions using C# and .NET
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse system requirements
- Writing clean and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards
- Identifying and resolving technical issues and bugs
- Optimising and enhancing existing systems to improve performance and scalability
- Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices
- Participating in system architecture design and planning
- Keeping up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in building and consuming them
- Solid understanding of database design and SQL
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Azure
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
