Job description
Our client, a dedicated data centre delivery partner, is currently seeking a MEP Commissioning Manager to join their expanding team in Sandviken, Sweden. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work on varied turnkey data centre projects across Europe. With a focus on providing comprehensive solutions from design through to commissioning, our client is recognised as the leading and most trusted company in the sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and supervision of Cx Package engineers
- Setting work scope and managing its delivery
- Communicating deadlines and Cx programme milestones
- Managing the project Cx Programme, including milestone and deadline management
- Ensuring compliance with contract documents and procedures
- Planning and managing Vendor FAT/FWT, with possible attendance if necessary
- Managing CFCI and OFCI vendors' Cx Scope
- Attending and providing input to daily/weekly Cx meetings with internal teams, vendors, and clients
- Forming, updating and submitting Cx Progress and technical reports to the line manager
- Coordinating and aligning with Project QAQC and AP Departments to achieve common objectives
- Managing and obtaining approval on relevant project Cx documents such as Test Scripts and Compliance statements
- Reporting bi-weekly progress through the respective phases
- Coordinating with the client on snagging and handover
- Facilitating Health and Safety compliance, including overseeing site on-boarding and scheduling installations
Job Requirements:
- Relevant certificates in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related Trade with relevant training and experience
- Process-driven with a focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes
- Ability to solve problems analytically and act decisively
- Experience in a similar role within a construction environment, especially in commercial, industrial, pharma, or data centre projects
