Location: Lymington - Onsite
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Contract: Temporary (initially approx. 6 months, with potential extension and possible conversion)
Hours: Weekly rotating shift pattern

  • Week 1:
    Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-4:00pm
    Friday: 9:00am-2:00pm

  • Week 2:
    Monday-Thursday: 10:00am-6:00pm
    Friday: 11:00am-4:00pm


Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to support day-to-day warehouse operations in Lymington. Working under close supervision, you will play a key role in the safe, accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, while maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety rules, procedures, and work instructions
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming raw materials and finished goods
  • Carry out internal stock movements following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
  • Pick, prepare, and stage customer orders accurately and on time
  • Perform visual inspections of trucks, containers, and tankers to prevent product damage
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse activities
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including completing daily forklift checks
  • Report non-conforming products, equipment faults, or safety concerns promptly
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised working environment
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, colleagues, and other departments

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g. PRISM)

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • At least 1 year's experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance and Reach)
  • Understanding of inventory control and stock rotation processes
  • SAP experience or training

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25kg
  • Regular stair climbing and manual handling required
