We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation activities within a vessel outfit environment.
Due to the nature of the project, candidates must come from a marine background and have previous experience working on vessels. This is a hands-on supervisory role, leading a small team whilst actively supporting installation activities when required.
You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, whilst maintaining programme deadlines and compliance with marine regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Marine Electrical Supervisor or similar supervisory role.
- Marine background with experience working on vessels.
- Strong understanding of marine electrical systems, vessel outfit activities and marine regulations.
- Proven experience supervising and coordinating small teams.
- Hands-on electrical installation experience within marine, shipbuilding, refit or new-build environments.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
- Electrical commissioning experience is advantageous.
- Relevant electrical qualifications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills.
- Must be eligible to undergo and obtain BPSS clearance.
Details
- Approx. 6-month contract.
- Up to £35/h DOE.
- Possible weekend working.
