I am recruiting for a CNC Miller/Turner (Setter/Operator, Level 2) to join a well-established engineering manufacturer working across maritime, automotive and aerospace projects.
CNC Miller/Turner (Day Shift) - Poole
Key details
- Location: Poole, Dorset (BH17 0GG)
- Contract: Inside IR35
- Rate: £17.50 to £18.00 per hour
- Hours: 39 per week, overtime paid at time and a half
- Core working hours (must be worked): Mon to Thu, 9:00am to 4:00pm
- Typical day shift pattern: start 7:00am to 8:00am, finish 4:00pm to 5:00pm (flexi-time around core hours)
- Friday opening: 8:00am to 12:00pm (where needed to fulfil hours)
What you will be doing
- Setting and operating CNC milling and turning / mill-turn machines
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Producing components to spec, checking own work, and completing quality inspections
- Keeping a tidy and safe work area and working to site processes
What I am looking for
- CNC setting and operating experience (milling and turning)
- Confident reading drawings and working to tolerances
- Quality focused and comfortable with self inspection
- Sector experience in maritime/automotive/aerospace is a bonus
