Our client is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in London for a 6-month contract.
Working as part of the UK Infrastructure Group, you will be responsible for providing solutions to local and global infrastructure and utility needs. This role offers an integrated multi-disciplinary service throughout the entire project life cycle, from planning through to design and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities, and reviewing civil infrastructure design from project proposition through to construction.
- Planning project resources and finances, and monitoring job financial performance.
- Managing technical staff, contributing to planning team workload, assisting and mentoring staff, and developing more junior team members.
- Preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
- Applying customer focus and participating in work-winning activities to secure the group's project pipeline.
Job Requirements:
- Strong technical background in infrastructure design with a demonstrable track record in a core infrastructure discipline such as Highways, Utilities, or Sustainable Drainage.
- Experience in successful multidisciplinary project delivery, with the ability to manage and motivate the team effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A willingness to travel and a desire to lead continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and MicroDrainage.
- Membership in a relevant professional institution.
