Electrical Project Manager

Our client, a leading company in the power utilities sector, is currently seeking two experienced Electrical Project Managers to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on DNO Asset Replacement programmes and Frameworks, with a significant project based across Berkshire, Greater London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing substation projects from initiation to completion
  • Overseeing the SSE/UKPN Asset Replacement programmes and Framework and HV connections projects.
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Co-ordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders for streamlined project delivery
  • Mitigating risks and resolving issues that arise during the project lifecycle
  • Providing regular project updates and reporting to senior management
  • Maintaining adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Managing project resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and utilisation

Job Requirements:

  • Experience up to 11kv (33kv desirable but not essential)
  • Electrically trained (HNC or above or Ex Cable Jointer, HV Fitter, Electrician by trade)
  • Strong understanding of power distribution, asset replacement and connection projects.
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills
  • Relevant project management qualifications or certifications are advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
