Our client, an innovative leader in the education sector, is currently seeking a Weapons Engineering Training Instructor expert to join their team in Portsmouth. This permanent role focuses on enhancing training delivery standards within the Defence Training industry, specifically tailored for the Royal Navy's Weapons Engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering training in maintenance principles and fault-finding techniques of Royal Navy electronic systems in support of the Royal Navy Weapon Engineering (WE) Department
- Teaching up to 16 students per class
- Working collaboratively with Learning & Development and a team of 10 instructors
- Supporting continuous improvement and learning initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Experience in Defence Training and Defence-related fields
- Electrical qualification (Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering would be advantageous) or proven experience in this field
- Understanding of Royal Navy Weapons Engineering is desired
- Level 4 teaching certificate or equivalent is an advantage
- Any teaching, instructing, coaching experience would be beneficial
