Supply Chain Professional - 12 month contract - Samlesbury Aerodrome - £30.90 ph UMB or £23.05 ph PAYE (Inside IR35)
The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs). Please note, the rate paid by the Umbrella will be less, as will a Limited Deemed rate or Agency PAYE rate. Please get in touch to discuss the rates via these different payment vehicles.
The Role
Supply Chain requires an individual to work in a dynamic and demanding environment to meet the requirements of an Export customer. The role will require management and support of a substantial order book and liaising/collaborative work with stakeholders such as Order Book, Project Management, internal/external customers and partner companies.
Role Responsibilities:
Not limited to…
- Manage internal and external customer order requirements into a single source of data.
- Liaise with Order Book / Warehouse teams to ensure all items are picked, packed and ready to deliver.
- Support order book and PM teams in reporting delivery of orders.
- Report to PM team and customers on performance.
- Attend and support recurring Supply Chain Team reviews
- Maintain topicality of all Customer logistic reporting
What are BAE Systems looking for from you?
- Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and Supply Chain toolsets including IFS & Infor LN.
- Good Communication Skills
- Able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Security Requirements: SC
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restrictions.
