Electrical Engineer - Data Centre Project (Skelleftea, Sweden)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a major data centre development in Skelleftea, Sweden. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the technical delivery of the project, ensuring that our electrical systems are engineered and installed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with consultants, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Your core duties will include:
Technical Oversight: Provide expert technical guidance and support to subcontractors across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Design & Coordination: Manage and review project drawings, ensuring all technical documentation is accurate and aligned with the overall project requirements.
Compliance & Standards: Oversee the execution of all electrical works, ensuring full compliance with our Integrated Management System and all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
Site Management: Monitor subcontractor performance on-site, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols and project specifications.
Team Leadership: Plan, prioritise, and delegate tasks within the technical team to ensure all project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
Problem Solving: Utilise advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify technical issues early and implement effective, timely corrective actions.
Project Documentation: Manage rigorous document control processes, maintaining accurate logs and records throughout the project.
Commissioning: Prepare comprehensive handover and test packs to facilitate a seamless transition into system commissioning.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in an electrical engineering role within a large-scale construction or industrial environment (Data Centre experience is highly advantageous).
Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, installation processes, and commissioning requirements.
Excellent ability to manage stakeholder relationships and oversee subcontractor teams effectively.
A meticulous approach to documentation, quality control, and health and safety standards.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on high-pressure projects with tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
