Electrical Package Manager - Data Centre Project (Skellefteå, Sweden)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Package Manager to lead the full lifecycle of the electrical package for a large-scale data centre project in Skellefteå, Sweden. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the package, managing design coordination, procurement, installation, and final commissioning to ensure our high standards of quality and efficiency are met.

Key Responsibilities

As the Electrical Package Manager, you will lead the technical and operational delivery of the electrical systems. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Full Lifecycle Management: Take full ownership of the electrical package from design and procurement to site installation, testing, and commissioning.

  • Safety & QHSE Leadership: Champion a strong safety culture. Work closely with the project management team and safety advisors to manage the safety file and ensure full site compliance.

  • Commercial & Cost Control: Manage all financial aspects of the electrical package, including labour, material procurement, plant/equipment, and the valuation of variations.

  • Project Controls & Reporting: Deliver comprehensive weekly reports, including cost analysis, progress tracking against Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) codes, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Subcontractor Management: Supervise all subcontractor activities, tracking progress against the master programme and managing site manpower levels.

  • Quality & Snagging: Oversee the "in-progress" snagging system, ensuring consistent quality checks, weekly punch lists, and timely resolution of issues.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the electrical team in internal project reviews, engineering coordination meetings, and client-facing progress meetings.

  • Logistics & Documentation: Coordinate material deliveries to align with the project schedule and maintain a detailed photographic project diary.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: A relevant degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Experience: Proven experience in Project Management within large-scale industrial sectors (Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, or similar).

  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in design-and-build projects, with a strong command of complex electrical systems.

  • Operational Skills: Demonstrated capability in managing complex budgets, industrial relations, and Health & Safety regulations.

  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of driving team performance across multiple project priorities.

  • Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with relevant technical/mechanical software is essential.
