Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their Operations team in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will become thoroughly familiar with all project details, designs, and specifications to assist in delivering projects safely, on time, and to standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical & Submittal Management: Collate and manage the technical submittals process as detailed by the Contracts/Project Manager. Maintain the client's Document Management System and oversee external project correspondence.

  • Project & Design Coordination: Collaborate with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Design, and Quantity Surveyor (QS) teams to update progress reports. Ensure the latest drawing revisions are used on-site and redline drawings with as-built information to issue back to design.

  • RFI & Supply Chain Control: Raise Request for Information (RFIs), maintain the RFI schedule, and follow up on orders for long lead plant items.

  • Commercial Support: Assist the Quantity Surveyor with variations, procurement, and backup documentation for project changes.

  • Compliance & Subcontractor Oversight: Monitor subcontractor compliance, ensure adherence to all Building Regulations and Standards, and enforce strict compliance with EHSQ policies and procedures.

  • Commissioning & Handover: Compile Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals and support the commissioning and handover process.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree level in Engineering or a similar relevant discipline.

  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office Suite. Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial.

  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of tendering processes.

  • Key Attributes: A willing, adaptable approach to handling different elements of a project, alongside strong organisational and communication skills.
