We're partnering with a growing investment technology business that is transforming how investors access specialist financial products.
They are looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering to lead the evolution of their internal technology capability across multiple investment platforms.
This is not a traditional management role.
You'll remain close to the technology, designing, building and deploying solutions while shaping the firm's technology roadmap and mentoring a growing team of developers.

What You'll Be Doing
- Own the technology roadmap across multiple strategic initiatives
- Design, build and deploy production software
- Lead architecture decisions and engineering best practice
- Drive CI/CD and development environments
- Mentor and coach junior developers
- Support AI and automation initiatives
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business
- Manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong Python development expertise
- Experience delivering production systems
- Hands-on engineering leadership background
- DevOps and CI/CD knowledge
- Experience mentoring engineers
- Ability to operate in a small, highly collaborative team
