Our client is currently recruiting for multiple experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers on a permanent basis in Oxfordshire. You will be responsible for maintaining and certifying avionics and electrical systems across their helicopter fleet. The successful candidate will ensure aircraft remain airworthy through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and certification activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and certify maintenance, inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and rectify defects affecting communication, navigation, surveillance, flight instrument, and electrical systems.
- Conduct functional testing using specialised diagnostic and avionics test equipment.
- Complete maintenance documentation and certify work within licence and company authorisation privileges.
- Ensure compliance with approved maintenance data, Part-145 requirements, and company procedures.
- Support aircraft modifications, upgrades, and electrical system installations where required.
- Assist with line maintenance, base maintenance, and AOG recovery activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to avionics technicians and mechanics.
Job Requirements:
- UK CAA Part-66 B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
- Type rating and certification experience on one or more of the following:
- H125
- H130
- H135
- H145
- H160
- Experience working within a Part-145 maintenance environment.
- Strong avionics and electrical fault-finding capability.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
Desirable:
- Multiple Airbus Helicopters type ratings.
- Experience with glass cockpit, autopilot, and mission system avionics.
- Knowledge of avionics software loading and configuration.
- Previous experience supporting operational helicopter fleets.
