Key Responsibilities:
- CFD and Testing: Analyse computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and run physical tests using 60% scale models in the wind tunnel.
- Concept Generation: Create and iterate new aerodynamic geometry and surface concepts using CAD tools.
- Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate closely with design engineers, model makers, and trackside teams to translate concepts into physical parts.
- Data Correlation: Compare simulated data against real-world track or wind tunnel data to fine-tune vehicle performance.
Job Requirements:
- Education: A degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, aerodynamics, or a closely related field.
- Technical Mastery: Strong grasp of fluid mechanics, CAD software, and data analysis packages (like Python or MATLAB).
