Our client, is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team in Leicester. This is a permanent role, focusing on the development and maintenance of infrastructure projects, particularly in highways and drainage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing infrastructure development projects
- Preparing technical assessments (TA) and flood risk assessments (FRA)
- Designing and implementing highway and drainage solutions
- Utilising software such as MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conducting site visits and office-based project management three days a week
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience in civil engineering, specifically in development infrastructure
- Strong proficiency in MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
- Experience in highways and drainage project design and implementation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Chartership is beneficial but not essential
