We're looking for an ambitious and technically capable Building Inspector (Class 2D or above) to join our growing Building Control team.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regulated building inspections in line with RBI competency requirements.
- Assess building work for compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation.
- Inspect a variety of projects ranging from residential developments to complex commercial schemes.
- Review plans, specifications, and technical submissions.
- Produce accurate, timely, and professional inspection reports.
- Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and developers.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Stay current with changes in legislation, regulations, and industry best practice.
- Support the successful delivery of safe, compliant, high-quality construction projects.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Building Inspector with a minimum competency of Class 2D or above.
- Experience within Building Control, Building Inspection, Construction Compliance, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage your own workload and inspection programme.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel throughout Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Northamptonshire.
Desirable Qualifications & Professional Memberships
- Registered above Class 2D or 2E or 2F or 3G with experience on more complex projects.
- Membership, registration, or development pathway with:
- CABE
- Building Safety Competence Foundation (BSCF/LABC)
- Total Training
- Experience across commercial, industrial, higher-risk, or complex developments.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and competency growth.
