Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security and Maritime sectors, is currently seeking a Marine Engineering Submarine Specialist to join their team!

This role is Permanent - Remote based with occasional onsite presence in Reading. You must also be eligible for an SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyse technical data to support courseware and media development programmes
  • Collaborate with the Courseware and Media Teams to identify technical data requirements for DSAT courseware and media
  • Work with the customer and its agents to identify and access necessary technical data
  • Contextualise training and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied
  • Maintain, update, and revalidate course technical data
  • Identify opportunities for better development and delivery of courseware
  • Champion and foster a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continual improvement
  • Participate in internal workshops and interview subject matter experts for data collation

Job Requirements:

  • Proven at-sea experience as a Cat A Nuclear watchkeeper
  • Background in electrical systems (Desirable)
  • Experience with PWR 2 and Fwd ME duties (Desirable)
  • Involvement in training requirements, design, or delivery (Desirable)
  • Member of a Boat Build Crew (Desirable)
  • Experience with DE&S/SDA (Desirable)
