Our client, a prominent organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is searching for an I&FS Project Controller to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This role, based in Warton, demands a professional with significant experience in project control within the context of infrustructure and facility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring alignment with established timelines and budgets
- Provide comprehensive project reporting and updates to stakeholders
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery
- Maintain effective communication with project teams and external partners
- Facilitate project meetings and produce detailed minutes and action plans
- Utilise project management tools and software for tracking and reporting purposes
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Professional, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with project risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
Contract Details:
- Location: Warton
- Duration: 12 months
- Working Hours: Standard hours, 3 days a week on-site (generally Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
