Senior Authorised Person (33kV to 132kV)
Our client, a leading power infrastructure contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Authorised Person to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will support the delivery of major power installation and connections projects across the UK, spanning distribution and transmission networks up to 132kV.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Senior Authorised Person duties on networks from 33kV to 132kV
- Undertake switching operations and issue safety documentation in line with DNO and ICP procedures
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry regulations and company standards
- Support the planning and delivery of installation and connections projects up to 132kV
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to operational teams on site
- Liaise with clients, project teams and network operators to ensure safe project delivery
- Maintain accurate operational and safety records
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities
Job Requirements:
- Current or previous SAP authorisations from 33kV up to 132kV
- Experience working on power distribution, transmission, ICP or utility infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of HV safety rules, switching and operational procedures
- Experience supporting installation and connections projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required
