As they continue to scale, they are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to play a key role in the development, integration, and delivery of cutting-edge unmanned aerial platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the systems engineering activities across the full UAV development lifecycle.
- Apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to support system design, architecture, and requirements management.
- Define, capture, and manage system requirements for complex autonomous and remotely operated aircraft systems.
- Support the design and integration of flight control, navigation, payload, communication, and mission systems.
- Work closely with software, electronics, mechanical, and flight test teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Lead verification, validation, and acceptance activities at subsystem and platform level.
- Conduct trade studies, system analysis, and performance assessments to inform design decisions.
- Support flight trials and testing activities, ensuring system performance meets operational objectives.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of emerging UAV, autonomy, and defence technologies to drive innovation within the business.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering within aerospace, UAV, autonomous systems, defence, robotics, or a related high-technology environment.
- Experience applying Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, integration, verification, and validation.
- Experience working on complex multidisciplinary engineering programmes.
- Familiarity with flight control systems, autonomy, communications, sensors, or mission systems would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up or innovation-driven environment.
- Degree qualified in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
