Our client is seeking a Working Electrical Supervisor to join its Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme team in Little Marlow and Forest Hill, Oxfordshire. This permanent role offers the opportunity to support electrical installation works across water supply and wastewater treatment infrastructure, combining hands-on responsibilities with the supervision and development of electricians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing low-voltage electrical systems, including containment, power and control cabling
  • Testing electrical installations and supporting the delivery of permanent and temporary works
  • Supervising electricians and providing guidance and mentorship to apprentices
  • Preparing electrical RAMS and reviewing contractor documentation for compliance with safety standards
  • Providing safe isolations of low-voltage electrical systems and issuing electrical safety documentation
  • Conducting electrical audits and overseeing contractor testing to maintain quality standards
  • Working closely with the MEICA delivery team on water and wastewater infrastructure projects
  • Using sound judgement to resolve electrical installation issues and support safe project delivery

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory electrical role
  • Demonstrable experience within the water industry, with knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes
  • Relevant electrical installation qualifications, such as C&G 2330 or 2360 and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
  • Current knowledge of the IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
  • SMSTS and Confined Spaces qualifications
  • JIB Gold Card or ECS card and a full driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and supervisory skills

The role is based in Little Marlow and Forest Hill, Oxfordshire, with working hours of approximately 45 hours per week. Flexible arrangements may be discussed where operationally suitable. Applicants should note that sponsorship is not available for this role.
