I am supporting them with the hire of a Commercial Analyst to strengthen forecasting, distributor performance analysis, and commercial decision support across global markets. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insight.
Role: Commercial Analyst | Location: North West London (NW2) - hybrid (3 days office, 2 from home) | Type: Permanent | Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Key responsibilities include
- Produce monthly outturn forecasts from export orders and maintain visibility of the rolling 4-month order book
- Identify supply chain risks, delays and stock issues, escalating where appropriate
- Analyse distributor sales-in and sales-out to spot trends, performance drivers and opportunities
- Build and improve reporting/processes to measure and evaluate campaign performance (working with International Marketing leadership)
- Support commercial projects including pricing reviews, new market assessments and distributor incentive programmes
- Review distributor project briefs, assess commercial viability and provide clear recommendations
- Coordinate product availability, lead times and shipment status through accurate internal communication and cross-checking
Key skills and experience required
- Degree educated (ideally Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or similar)
- Proven experience in a fast-moving, commercial and externally-facing analyst role
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate insight into commercial actions
- Advanced Excel (highly beneficial)
- ERP experience (SAP or similar)
- Understanding of statistical methods, analytical techniques, and basic finance/budgeting
- Strong attention to detail, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving
- Comfortable working across international markets and cultures
- Project management experience is advantageous
