Working: The role requires engineers on site for 3-5 days per week and is a on secure site where SC clearance is needed.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of software for advanced test equipment used to verify and validate world-leading systems and their sub-components.
Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to the delivery of robust, high-quality test solutions that support some of the most sophisticated defence technologies in the world.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven software engineering experience developing test solutions and test equipment software.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, with experience in scripting languages being advantageous as we continue to evolve our technology stack.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- A solid understanding of software quality principles and the ability to champion best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of automation, Continuous Integration, and DevOps methodologies and tools.
- Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers, to support debugging and fault investigation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in the Defence / Aerospace or safety regulated environment would be advantageous.
