Security Consultant (CHECK Team)
£580 per day | Inside IR35 (Umbrella) | Remote | Short-Term Contract
We're currently looking for an experienced Security Consultant (CHECK Team) to join a client on a short-term contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on security professional with strong penetration testing experience to support a variety of security assessment activities across enterprise systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across infrastructure, networks and applications
- Identify, analyse and document security vulnerabilities
- Produce clear technical reports and remediation recommendations
- Work closely with technical and project teams to improve security posture
- Support risk assessments and security assurance activities
- Ensure testing activities align with industry standards and best practices
Essential Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience delivering penetration testing engagements
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, network and application security
- Experience conducting security assessments within enterprise environments
- Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience producing high-quality security testing reports
- Familiarity with common security frameworks and methodologies
Desirable
- Current CHECK Team Member (CTM) or related CREST qualification
- Experience working within regulated or large-scale enterprise environments
- Knowledge of cloud security technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP)
