Our client, a leading organisation in the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join its team in Bournemouth on a permanent basis. The role will support safe, compliant and efficient aircraft maintenance operations across main base and detached locations in the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across all Part-145 and A8-23 aircraft maintenance activities
- Certify aircraft maintenance and supervise aircraft ground movements
- Support aircraft operations at base and detached locations, including overseas assignments
- Maintain accurate, timely and compliant aircraft maintenance documentation
- Coordinate engineering tasks to meet operational targets and budgets
- Support the Crew Chief and deputise when required
- Mentor engineering team members and promote strong leadership standards
- Promote Safety, Health and Environment, security and continuous improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
- Unrestricted CAA Part 66 B2 licence
- Experience in aircraft maintenance within an aerospace MRO or similarly regulated environment
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, maintenance procedures and compliance requirements
- Ability to supervise, motivate and support aircraft engineering teams
- Strong communication, leadership and customer service skills
- Proactive, safety-focused and committed to continuous improvement
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make sound engineering decisions
- Medical fitness, flexibility to work shifts and willingness to travel for detached operations

- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance and ITAR compliance
- Willingness to work additional hours when operationally required
