We are partnering exclusively with a leading organisation within Formula One to appoint an experienced Lead HR Business Partner.
This is a senior and highly influential opportunity within a fast-paced, high-performance environment, partnering closely with senior leaders to shape and deliver the people agenda across key areas of the organisation.
The successful individual will already have experience operating within Formula One or a similarly high-performance motorsport environment, bringing a strong understanding of the unique pace, culture and demands of the industry.
The Role
As Lead HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, providing both strategic and operational HR support while ensuring the people strategy is closely aligned with wider business objectives.
You will take a proactive role in driving organisational performance, supporting leadership teams through change and ensuring the organisation continues to attract, develop and retain high-performing talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with senior leaders to understand their business areas and translate priorities into effective people plans.
- Provide strategic HR advice and challenge to senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted and credible partner.
- Lead on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning and talent management.
- Support leaders with complex employee relations and performance matters.
- Drive employee engagement and help create a high-performance culture.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Reward, Learning & Development and other specialist HR teams to deliver key people initiatives.
- Coach and support leaders to strengthen management capability and improve overall organisational effectiveness.
- Use people data and insights to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Support and lead business change and transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the wider HR and people strategy.
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who is comfortable operating at pace and influencing at senior level.
Ideally, you will bring:
- Previous HR Business Partnering experience within Formula One or high-performance motorsport.
- A strong track record of partnering with senior leadership teams.
- Experience working within a complex, fast-paced and highly demanding environment.
- Strong stakeholder management, coaching and influencing skills.
- Experience across organisational design, talent, succession, employee relations and change.
- The confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively and provide commercially focused HR advice.
- A pragmatic, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to understand the operational demands of a high-performance organisation.
