Health and Safety Advisor (Data Centre Construction) - Hamina, Finland (On-site)

A specialist contractor delivering high-end solutions across data centre construction and complex ICT deployments is hiring a Health and Safety Advisor to support project delivery in Hamina, Finland.
You'll work closely with the senior H&S lead and site leadership to ensure robust compliance, practical risk control, and a strong safety culture across live construction environments.
Important: This vacancy is open to local hire only (Hamina/Finland-based).
What you'll be doing
- Lead site-based H&S support across construction works - inspections, engagement, coaching and compliance checks
- Deliver risk assessments, method statement review support and risk control plans
- Deliver toolbox talks and H&S training to site teams
- Investigate incidents and support corrective/preventive actions
- Produce clear H&S reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Confidently challenge unsafe behaviours and influence operational teams
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years' H&S experience in a construction site environment (data centre/high-spec projects beneficial)
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) - mandatory
- Strong working knowledge of risk assessment and risk management
- Strong written and spoken English
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with site teams and project managers
- ISO-standard auditing and incident investigation training - beneficial
Package
- Salary: €45,000 - 60,000
- Working pattern: On-site (Hamina)
- Contract type: 6 mth Fixed-term, full-time
