We are seeking a Senior Project Design Engineer to join a leading aerospace engineering business in Havant. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of advanced hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems supporting major aerospace programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of aerospace components and systems.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Manage projects through the full product lifecycle.
- Review technical documentation including drawings, ECOs and BOMs.
- Present at technical and design reviews.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead product investigations and continuous improvement activities.
- Support manufacturing and operational teams when required.
About You
- Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience within aerospace, defence or another regulated engineering environment.
- Strong product design and development background.
- Competent with Creo, Pro/Engineer or similar 3D CAD software.
- Experience producing and reviewing engineering documentation.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and project management skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, rotating equipment, FEA or CFD is advantageous.
