Our client, a leading tier 1 contractor in the water and civil engineering sector, is seeking experienced Site Agent's to support multiple projects across Portsmouth. This long-term contract opportunity involves overseeing site activities and ensuring that water infrastructure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day site operations across water infrastructure projects
- Supervising site teams and coordinating subcontractors to ensure effective project delivery
- Overseeing shallow surface drainage, landscaping and concrete plinth works
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance
- Monitoring progress, materials and resources against project requirements
- Completing site documentation, inspections and reports
- Communicating effectively with project managers, engineers, clients and site personnel
Job Requirements:
- Experience working as a Site Agent or in a similar site management role within the water or civil engineering sector
- Valid CSCS card
- SMSTS qualification
- Level 3 First Aid qualification
- Manual Handling certification
- Confined Space - Medium Risk certification
- NRSWA qualification
- Asbestos Awareness certification
- Strong knowledge of site health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
Contract Details:

- Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm
