Our client, a leading organisation in the renewables sector, is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to support operations at the Burbo Area Warehouse on a contract basis. This mid-level role will focus on inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, stock control and the efficient distribution of materials within a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating warehouse activities to support accurate inventory control and timely order fulfilment
- Monitoring stock levels, conducting checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Receiving, storing, picking and dispatching materials in line with operational requirements
- Operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently when handling warehouse stock
- Using SAP or a similar ERP system, along with Microsoft Office, to update records and produce reports
- Ensuring warehouse processes comply with health, safety and environmental requirements
- Managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Working collaboratively with logistics, supply chain and wider operational teams
Job Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse management, logistics, inventory control or supply chain operations
- Qualified forklift truck driver with a clean driving licence
- IT literate, with experience using SAP or a similar ERP system and Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to maintaining accurate records
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to learn new software tools
- GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications
- Understanding of HSE requirements and a passion for sustainability and green energy
