Assistant Project Manager required to work on a £multi-billion construction project in Essex.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Project Manager with the delivery of complex civils construction projects
- Co-ordinating project activities across design, construction and delivery phases
- Monitoring progress, programme milestones, risks, issues and project dependencies
- Supporting the management of contractors, consultants and project stakeholders
- Assisting with project reporting, documentation, governance and change control
- Ensuring construction activities are delivered in line with quality, health and safety and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to effective communication across multidisciplinary project teams
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project management within complex civil engineering or construction programmes
- Practical experience of working through construction stages of major projects
- Understanding of project controls, risk management, progress reporting and change management
- Experience gained within a highly regulated industry, such as airports, rail, nuclear or water
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, consultants and internal teams
- Good understanding of construction processes, governance and compliance requirements
