Project Manager required to work on a £multi-billion construction project in Essex.


If you have experience of working on the delivery stages of complex civil engineering/construction projects within a highly regulated industry, this would be a great role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of complex civil engineering construction projects from the construction phase onwards
  • Co-ordinating project activities across contractors, consultants, technical teams and other stakeholders
  • Monitoring programme progress, project performance, risks, costs and quality standards
  • Ensuring construction activities comply with relevant health and safety, regulatory and industry requirements
  • Managing project documentation, reporting, change control and delivery milestones
  • Supporting the resolution of technical, commercial and operational challenges throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders to support successful programme delivery

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in project management within complex civil engineering or construction programmes
  • Practical experience of managing construction-stage projects
  • Background in a highly regulated industry such as airports, nuclear, rail or water
  • Strong understanding of construction delivery, project controls, risk management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Relevant project management, civil engineering or construction qualification is desirable
  • Willingness and ability to commute to Stansted and work on site three days per week
