Procurement Manager
📍 London | 💰 up to £650 Inside IR35 | 📅 Contract
I'm currently supporting a leading infrastructure organisation in the search for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a major UK project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with infrastructure or engineering experience to take ownership of the procurement of critical Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) packages, managing the process from strategy and tendering through to contract award and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities across key M&E packages.
- Develop and manage competitive tender processes, including ITTs and evaluations.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms under NEC3 contracts.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Manage supplier performance and support successful project delivery.
- Ensure procurement activities are compliant and aligned with project objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven procurement experience within infrastructure, construction, engineering, utilities, rail, water or energy sectors.
- Strong knowledge of tendering, negotiation and contract award processes.
- Experience working with NEC3 contracts.
- Excellent stakeholder management and commercial skills.
- M&E procurement experience would be highly advantageous.
