Our client, an established organisation within the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking a B2 Licensed Engineer to support the safe and efficient maintenance of aircraft and associated avionics systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out aircraft maintenance, inspection and rectification activities in line with approved procedures
- Diagnosing and resolving avionics and electrical system faults
- Completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to the required technical standards
- Reviewing technical documentation, maintenance data and aircraft records
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable aviation regulations and safety requirements
- Working collaboratively with other Licensed Aircraft Engineers, technicians and operational teams
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing relevant certification
- Supporting a strong safety culture and contributing to continuous improvement within the maintenance environment
Job Requirements:
- Valid B2 aircraft maintenance licence or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Experience in aircraft maintenance within an aerospace or MRO environment
- Strong knowledge of aircraft avionics, electrical systems and associated components
- Understanding of airworthiness requirements, maintenance procedures and aviation safety regulations
- Ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Strong fault-finding, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to aircraft maintenance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a professional engineering team
