Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major fit-out project in Central London. This contract opportunity is suited to a proven mechanical engineering professional with a strong background in project management, commercial fit-out and data centre environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all mechanical aspects of the project lifecycle from inception through to completion
- Take overall responsibility for project delivery, programme, quality, health and safety, and client satisfaction
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, forecasting and commercial performance
- Drive progress while ensuring mechanical works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards
- Lead project meetings and provide clear updates on programme, commercial and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and project procedures
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager or in an equivalent mechanical project management role
- Proven ability to manage and deliver large-scale projects from start to finish
- Experience delivering commercial fit-out and/or data centre projects
- Strong mechanical engineering and building services knowledge
- Sound commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver effectively under programme pressures
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualifications are preferred
