Our client is seeking an HR Advisor for a four-month contract assignment based full time in the office in Cheltenham. This role will provide professional HR support across the business, advising managers and employees on a broad range of people-related matters and helping to ensure effective, consistent HR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Supporting employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
- Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and employment documentation
- Managing and maintaining accurate HR records and confidential personnel information
- Supporting the implementation and consistent application of HR policies and procedures
- Advising on absence management, performance matters and employee wellbeing
- Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvements in people processes
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to deliver an effective HR service
Job Requirements:
- Experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience supporting employee relations cases and providing sound HR advice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High levels of discretion when handling confidential information
- Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities
- Ability to work full time from the office in Cheltenham throughout the contract
