Pit Bottom - Active Tunnelling - Sedgeletch
We are looking for an experienced Pit Bottom to join Active Tunnelling on a tunnelling project in Sedgeletch.
Start Date: 16th October
Finish Date: 30th November
Location: Sedgeletch
Work: Shafts, pits and pipejacking
Duties will include:
- Working at the bottom of shafts and pits
- Supporting tunnelling and pipejacking operations
- Receiving and sending materials and equipment within the shaft
- Communicating with the Top Man and lifting team
- Assisting with the safe movement of loads
- Maintaining a safe and organised working area
- Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous Pit Bottom, shaft or tunnelling experience
- Pipejacking experience preferred
- Relevant valid tickets
- Good understanding of lifting operations
- Reliable and safety-conscious
